Use of NANO DIAMOND after dilution of it with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) results in fast thermal conductivity, wear resistance, lubricativeness, reduction in pin hole, and so on. Thus, this material is much more excellent than existing PTFE and also can be just used according to existing process.
Product Improvements (compared to conventional fillers)
- Reduce in wear, as much as 5 times when UDD-G is used as the only additive.
- Reduce in wear, as much as 25 times when UDD-G is used with conventional fillers.
- Reduce in coefficient of friction, as much as 35% (as low as the coefficient of friction of pure PTFE) when UDD-G is used as the only additive.
- Reduce in modulus of elasticity(stiffness), as much as 50% when UDD-G is used as the only additive.
- Stiffness
Applications
- Anywhere PTFE works
Mechanism (How UDD-G works)
- Intrusion into boundary area of a state of the substance
Procedures (in manufacturing)
Method of addition to PTFE
- Mix with PTFE powder, as the only additive or with conventional fillers
- Sinter, using standard procedures
