Machining and Coating
Based on customers´ drawings Calcarb machines high fired stock and applies designated coatings. Coated products are all re-fired to either 900oC or 2000oC for removal of volatiles and carbonisation of resin board.
High Fire Base Stock
Based on customers' drawings Calcarb machines high fired stock and applies designated coatings. Coated products are all re-fired to either 900oC or 2000oC for removal of volatiles and carbonisation of resin board.
Halogen Purification
Coated and machined products can be halogen purified resulting in an ash content of <20ppm.
Carbon Vapour Deposition (CVD) Products
Calcarb operates a carbon vapour deposition furnace which enhances the physical strength properties of standard Calcarb material yet still retains good insulation characteristics. In addition, dense erosion resistance CVD coatings can be applied to complicated machined shapes.
